Created in 2022, The Wedding Lapbook is an exuberant celebration of romance, memory and handmade detail.
Its cover brings together a pink hydrangea, aged papers, pearls, lace, embroidered textiles, metal embellishments and flashes of antique gold. Each layer was arranged slowly, allowing the materials to overlap and reveal one another rather than sit neatly within borders.
Unlike a conventional journal, the lapbook is designed as an interactive keepsake. Its unfolding structure creates places for photographs, letters, wedding stationery and the small fragments that carry the atmosphere of a special day.
It is richly embellished, deliberately irregular and entirely one of a kind—an heirloom made to be opened, explored and eventually filled with a family’s own memories.
